Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Radar Engineer Intern to join a diverse team in Summer 2027 to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems.
What they want
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below.
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.
- Should be able to apply skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation and software development.
- Experience working with a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry.
- Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following
- MATLAB / Python
- Modern C++ development
- Familiarity with Linux
