What you'd do
- Conducting research on market trends, competitor offerings, economic indicators, and investment products to support the broader team’s ability to differentiate PIMCO’s solutions for clients.
- Using data analytics tools to analyze client portfolios, investment performance, and market data to service existing clients and support internal strategic decision-making.
- Assisting in the development and execution of client business plans in collaboration with GWM stakeholders, including sales and product strategy teams.
- Adopt a team-based approach, communicate effectively, collaborate on key projects, and deliver individual work within expected timelines, all while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Possess a growth mindset by problem-solving, being curious about the role, and thinking creatively about how to contribute to the success of the broader business.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investments through relevant coursework, certifications, internship/work experience and/or participation in professional organizations & campus clubs.
- Due to the technical nature of this role, all full-time members of Strategic Accounts must pass FINRA series exams.
- In addition, some members have furthered their credentials through an MBA and/or participation in the chartered financial analyst progrom through the CFA institute.
- Articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct research and analyze complex data to identify trends and draw meaningful insights; some proficiency in financial modeling is a plus.
