What you'd do

  • Partner with project design teams and subject-matter experts to support engineering project development, plans, standards, equipment selection, and technical documentation.
  • Support engineering assessments, technical feasibility evaluations, lifecycle impact assessments, cost analyses, and project business cases.
  • Research project scopes, construction and engineering processes, and emerging technologies to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic Engineering projects, including capital planning and project controls activities.
  • Help develop, test, or improve digital, automation, data, or AI-enabled tools that streamline business processes and advance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to safety, health, and environmental initiatives that improve compliance, reduce operational risk, and support workforce well-being.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Expected completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
  • Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule.
  • 18 years or older
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
