The Construction Project Manager serves as Base Power's owner's representative across assigned capital construction projects. This role is responsible for the full project lifecycle — from design coordination through construction closeout — with direct accountability for schedule, budget, and scope performance.
The position operates within the Infrastructure & Development team and manages external project stakeholders including general contractors, architects, engineers of record, and specialty consultants.
What you'd do
- 7+ years of experience managing commercial, industrial, or manufacturing construction projects in an owner's representative or owner-side capacity
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and schedules, including change order evaluation, cost forecasting, and schedule recovery planning
- Working knowledge of construction documents, MEP systems, and building systems; ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers of record, and specialty consultants across design and construction phases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership
- Proficiency in project management tools for scheduling and document control; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent platforms preferred
- B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
