Job Overview:
As an Internal Audit intern within the FAR (Foundational Analyst Rotational) Program, participants will join us for a paid, ten-week summer internship supporting our IA Business Audit team. The internship experience includes
networking, relevant work assignments, group projects, social and wellness events, mentorship, and other informative learning sessions with key leaders.
What you'd do
- Assist in the completion of financial, operational, and process design assessments and control testing
- Participate in process walkthroughs and perform audit testing in accordance with department and professional standards
- Obtain exposure to systems, databases, and other applications used by the Company on a daily basis
- Practice project management through handling various assignments and projects
- Expand knowledge through training and other online courses
- Interact with other company leaders to develop an understanding of career options and opportunities at LPL Financial

- 3.0 GPA minimum.
- Offer is contingent upon completion of bachelor’s degree, successful background screening, and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotte office.
- All majors are considered, but programs focusing in finance or accounting are preferred.
- GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge (understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, etc.)
- Leadership experience through student organizations, internships, or projects.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 platforms.
