2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk – Internal Audit
Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Interns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and coursework in finance, business, economics, or a related field
- An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
- Intellectual curiosity to learn, and the ability to analyze information and draw meaningful insights
- Strong attention to details and ability to ask insightful questions and connect risk, controls and business processes
- Support audit project work, collaborate with experienced professionals and gain exposure to real world business challenges
- Assist in boarder department wide initiatives gaining experience in process improvement / transformation
- Assist in performing testing to support the external audit controls over financial statement testing and/or model audit rule testing
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
