What you'd do

  • You will design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware.
  • You will develop, test, and document changes to existing hardware designs.
  • You will work closely with other engineering disciplines (ie. mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure electrical design is appropriate for the given application.
  • You will participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification, and qualification for products and subsystems.

What they want

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
  • Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs) digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
  • Experience using computer aided design (CAD) layout software such as Siemens Expedition or equivalent.
  • Experience with electrical hardware documentation or drawing standards.
  • Experience with displays technology such as image processing, LCD drivers, graphics engines, touch screens, etc.
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
