We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Digital/Technical Product Manager Intern who is passionate about making an impact on the military community through the USAA mission.
This internship will be based at the USAA Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.

To qualify, you must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, and plan to graduate after the final day of the internship. Most of our interns participate the summer between their junior and senior years. Our 2027 internship will start on June 2, 2027 and last through August 13, 2027.

What you'd do
- Empathize with and deeply understand the unique needs of end-users to determine the fastest path to deliver value.
- Translate business goals and end-user needs into a clear product vision, communicating direction and priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners.
- Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value; continually make recommendations and refine the product backlog based on learnings.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, making decisions based on the value that will be delivered.
- Monitor research and the competitive landscape to recommend the best solutions and ensure that products remain or become best in class.
- Ensure that product directions balance user needs and business goals of driving new products, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Work with design partners to formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution of product plans.
