Sales Development Representative, DoorDash for Business

DoorDash · 535 DDfB Sales

Pay: $71,400–$150,000/hr
Where: New York, NY

DoorDash for Business (DDfB) is one of DoorDash's fastest-growing businesses, helping organizations engage and support their employees through meal benefits, workplace catering, gifting, and other workplace solutions. As companies invest in employee engagement and return-to-office initiatives, we're expanding our product offerings, launching internationally, and building toward a one-stop solution for corporate workplace needs. Joining this team means joining a startup within DoorDash - you'll have the ownership and speed of a high-growth business backed by the scale, resources, and brand of a global leader.

We're looking for an Inbound Sales Development Representative to join our DoorDash for Business team, focused on converting inbound interest into qualified pipeline within Mid Market to Strategic accounts.

What you'd do

Own inbound leads from the moment they hit your queue, working within defined SLAs to make first contact, qualify, and route - speed and responsiveness are the job, not a nice-to-have
Qualify inbound interest against clear criteria- and just as importantly, disqualify quickly and cleanly so sales time goes to the accounts worth pursuing
Run structured discovery conversations to understand intent and need, then hand off well-briefed, sales-ready meetings to Account Executives
Take on side projects tied to DDfB growth and GTM testing — new channel experiments, campaign tests, and initiatives that pull on outbound prospecting and multi-touch outreach skills alongside your core inbound work
Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to close the loop on lead quality, surfacing patterns in what's converting (and what isn't) back to the team
Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching to develop your skills in qualification, discovery, and objection handling plus occasional outbound fundamentals to support cross-functional project work and promotion

What they want

You have 6 months+ of experience in B2B sales, SDR/BDR, or a related inbound sales environment
You have a track record of meeting or exceeding activity, SLA and conversion pipeline goals in a quota-driven environment
You can quickly assess fit and intent on a lead — and you're comfortable disqualifying as confidently as you qualify
You are proficient with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach, and use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to support process, qualification and prospecting
You're adaptable - equally comfortable reacting fast to an inbound queue and picking up structured outbound work when a growth or GTM test calls for it
You have a resilient, gritty mindset and thrive navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
