The Role:
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Product Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
The New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic and collaborative group focused on product development for our reticle handling products as an engineering Co-Op. The core purpose of this role is to support the engineering team with improving manufacturability and measurability of our products, minor design work, researching new technologies, etc.
What you'd do
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo (Pro/ENGINEER), or similar through coursework, projects, or internships is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and organized work practices
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently after initial training
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other similar Engineering Fields
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of May 2027 or later.
