What you'd do
- Supporting automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
- Assisting with troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, sensors, industrial communications, computers, and networks.
- Supporting PLC and HMI programming, testing, and documentation activities.
- Assisting with data collection, system backups, reliability assessments, and routine system checks.
- Participating in automation projects, equipment upgrades, commissioning, testing, and startup activities.
- Preparing technical documentation, reports, procedures, and test records.
- Supporting design reviews, risk assessments, vendor interactions, and cross-functional meetings.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, IT, and external suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulated-system requirements.
What they want
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman Year at an accredited University is required.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.
- Or other related technical fields
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflective of all college coursework.
- Must remain enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the Co-Op term.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January through December 2027.
- Must be able to work onsite five days per week in Añasco, Puerto Rico.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
- Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and technical documentation skills.
