Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

The Business Operations team at Anduril has two primary responsibilities:

As a member of the central Business Operations team, you will support any functional org (e.g., Prod…

What you'd do

  • Own operational projects end-to-end, from definition, to solutioning, to implementation, to clean transition of ownership.
  • You will be handed ambiguous problems (stand up a new facility, diligence an acquisition target, localize a product for a new customer) with little information on how to solve them.
  • If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
  • Solve problems at the intersection of people, hardware, and software systems. Anduril is a hardware business, and tracking hardware is messy. Our operations teams work on
  • Inventory management systems
  • Staffing & recruiting operations
  • Asset-tracking in the field
  • Manufacturing systems capturing data on quality issues on the production floor
  • Forward-deploy to new locations to stand up facilities, establish presence, and build relationships with customers, partners, contractors, government stakeholders, and prospective hires.
  • You may be Anduril's face on the ground before there is a local team to hand off to.
  • Partner closely with Strategic Real Estate, Global Defense, and Corporate Development on site selection, lease execution, facility buildout, tenders and proposals, localization planning, M&A diligence, and post-acquisition operational integration.
  • Work on strategic problems, providing structure to ambiguity and shepherding cross-functional groups of stakeholders toward informed decisions.
  • The role requires coupling first-principles thinking with creative and iterative analysis to fully detail the impacts of potential decisions, often in unfamiliar contexts.
  • Work deeply within data and systems.
  • Become intimately familiar with how our business systems (ERP, MRP, HRIS, etc.) function, and leverage data from them to execute scrappy analyses on short timelines, equipping functional teams with insights and tools to measure and improve their processes.

What they want

  • Strong agency and judgment to operate independently. Mature enough to make calls in the moment with imperfect information, and mature enough not to go rogue. You know when to decide and when to escalate.
  • Builds trust and relationships across functions, cultures, and seniority levels. You can walk into a room with a defense official, a real estate broker, or an executive, and bring context, optimism and insights to the table.
  • Comfortable constantly moving between big-picture strategy, fine details, and execution - sometimes all in the same day. You can shape Anduril's approach to a new market and also negotiate lease terms or source a local supplier.
  • A strong communicator across a huge dynamic range: working-level engineers, finance partners, external counterparts, and executives, often across 12+ hour time zones.
  • You over-communicate because you understand trust erodes with distance and silence.
  • Self-aware and coachable. You seek feedback and self-correct.
  • High ownership with the horsepower to juggle multiple (2-3+) projects in parallel, at a rapid pace, reporting out progress regularly without dropping balls.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in a management consulting, investment banking, internal strategy & operations, or business analyst role.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
