What you'd do
- Consolidate and organize multiple years of product-level sales data into a clean, documented, and usable dataset.
- Partner with Marketing leadership to establish and apply end-market vertical segmentation standards and taxonomy.
- Develop product- and bill-of-material-based classification logic to identify likely end-market verticals when customer information is unavailable.
- Analyze sales, customer, and transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities across market segments.
- Conduct outreach with agency representatives and distributors to validate customer information and improve segmentation accuracy.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide leadership with actionable market and sales insights.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, data sources, and classification rules to support future business use.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and external partners to gather information and align on project objectives.
- Develop recommendations to improve future customer and market segmentation data collection processes.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing Research, Business Intelligence & Analytics

- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, Market Research, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and lookup functions.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
