Build your first real systems engineering experience on AI hardware you can measure, test and improve.
As a Systems Engineering Intern in Austin, you will contribute to projects across hardware, firmware and software engineering. You will help validate advanced AI compute platforms from subsystem behaviour to full system performance.
You will support CPU and high-speed input and output subsystem work, including lab testing, automation and data analysis. Your work will help engineers understand performance, power, signal behaviour and reliability.
You will gain hands-on experience with technologies such as PCIe 6.0, 800G Ethernet and high-performance cooling.
What they want
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's, master's or doctoral program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a closely related field
- Hands-on lab testing or technical measurement experience through coursework, research, student teams, internships or personal projects
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, C, C++ or MATLAB
- Foundational understanding of computer architecture, digital systems, embedded systems or hardware-software interaction
- Analytical problem-solving skills and interest in how hardware, firmware and software operate together
- Clear documentation habits, constructive communication and willingness to learn unfamiliar tools with guidance
