Day to day, this role requires strong organization and comfort working in low context environments. Often, you will be given problems, not instructions. You will regularly need to figure out what the right next step even is before executing.
Much of your time will be spent supporting compensation plans and commissions, building reporting and dashboards, analyzing bookings and revenue trends, helping with budgeting and forecasting, and improving the systems the company uses to make decisions. You’ll partner closely with accounting, sales, and operations to ensure leadership has accurate data and actionable insights.
You will work across teams and functions and will regularly interact with leadership. Because the finance function is largely unbuilt, there is direct visibility into how decisions are made and how the business operates.
What they want
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related track
- Strong financial foundation, including comfort in Power BI, Excel, and other tools
- Highly self-directed — does not need heavy management or a fully built playbook to be effective
- 1+ years experience in IB (Tech focus preferred), in a finance role at a high growth start-up, or an equivalent role
- Experience with accounting, FP&A, and revenue recognition
- Experience with M&A or strategic financial projects

- Salary range is 80,000 to 135,000 dollars depending on experience.
