The Cigna Group Government Affairs internship offers hands-on experience in advocacy and public policy. You will join the Washington, DC Government Affairs team and help advance practical policy positions that support the health and vitality of our customers and communities. You will learn from experienced colleagues, contribute to meaningful work, and gain exposure to leaders across the organization.
What you'd do
- Interest in a career in government affairs, public policy, or health care policy.
- General understanding of government processes and current health policy issues.
- Strong research, analysis, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate, bring new ideas, manage priorities, and follow through on commitments.
- Coursework or experience in public policy, government, political science, health policy, or a related area is preferred.
- This internship is based in Washington, DC.
