The DCSA Student Experience (DSE) '27 Cohort. Open to undergraduate and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, who will remain full-time students through October 2028. Summer Cohort Start Date: 31 May 2027 (alternate: 14 June 2027); End Date: 20 August 2027. Students must attend for a minimum of 10 weeks (400 hours). What you'd do
- This is a temporary position NTE 04 September 2027.
- As a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT TRAINEE you will be responsible for the following duties: Provide support to HR Specialists involved in one or more specialty or program area.
- These include Benefits, Staffing and Position Management, Recruiting, Employee Development, Employee and Leader Development, Employee Relations, Performance and Classification.
- Analyze and investigate relevant facts and issues and interpret data to determine facts surrounding required actions.
- Gather information requested by specialists in support of the assigned program area.
- This includes conducting thorough research, formulating well founded determinations and providing clear and concise responses.
- Determine relevant guidance and procedures, prepare reports, recommend appropriate corrective actions and carryout actions as directed.
- Gather and organize data, identify issues and discrepancies, format materials, recommend improvements and provide solutions.
- Assemble files and obtain information from relevant sources necessary to determine appropriate guidance/advice to management.
