Associate Embedded Software Engineer – Sunnyvale, CA

What you'd do
- Work with real sensor data (imaging, depth/LiDAR, or test-bench measurements) to build models, tools, or analysis pipelines that help the team make faster, better-informed engineering decisions
- Help develop or improve methods for analyzing optical, calibration, or reliability test data
- Prototype approaches to problems like anomaly detection, signal/data processing, calibration modeling, or automated data quality checks
- Collaborate with hardware, test, and software engineers to understand the problem before jumping to a solution
- Document your approach and present findings to the team
What they want
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Robotics, or a comparable major.
- Must have an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- At least 2 months of previous relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for ML/data work (e.g., Python, C++, and/or MATLAB)
- Experience applying software engineering fundamentals through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience.
- Ability to discuss prior internship, project, or academic work, including the problem solved, technical approach, collaboration, and outcomes.
