What you'd do
- Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models used in forecasting, pricing, and risk analysis.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing large datasets related to niche insurance products.
- Contribute to experience studies, trend analysis, and loss development reporting.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and business teams to interpret results and support strategic planning.
- Learn to use actuarial tools such as Excel, SQL, R, and/or VBA.
- Present findings and insights to team members and other stakeholders.
What they want
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn basic programming skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
