Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Enterprise Data Office Co-Op supports the organization in one of two key functions: Data Engineering or Software Engineering. Candidate will be placed based on skillset and current need of the business. Co-Op will work as an engineer on an agile squad to assist in delivering value to our customers by applying technical skills and expertise to business and/or technical projects of a low to moderate level of complexity. As a member of an agile team you will be actively involved implementing new features and enabling capabilities using modern software engineering tools.
What you'd do
- Active participation in all agile team ceremonies
- Plays a key role as an individual contributor on projects or agile teams
- Completes work assignments in conjunction with more senior staff members
- Participates in other learning sessions within the EDO; actively closes knowledge gaps with the guidance of more senior staff
- Works to increase knowledge of the industry and the applications processed by Fifth Third Bank through all available channelsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- 4-year degree seeker in Information Technology or related degree
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Prefer candidates that have relevant internship and/ or co-op program experience
- Prefer candidates with experience with software development and/or programming
- Familiar with SQL
