Opportunities Available
As a Human Factors Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of products offered by Stryker Emergency Care. You will work as a part of cross-functional product design and development teams to champion the perspectives of our users and help to design products that are intuitive, safe, and effective to use.
What you'd do
- Currently pursing a degree (Master’s preferred) in Human Factors Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
- Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
- Experience or demonstrated interest in product development (medical device design preferred), user research, and usability testing
- Understanding of biomechanics, human performance, and/or cognitive processing models
- Foundational skills in research & experimental design for usability testing and user research
- Data analysis (qualitative & quantitative) and communication (oral and written) skills
