What you'd do
- You will build foundational expertise through an immersive experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- This internship will give you a 360-degree view of how energy technology is built, using a foundation of lean
- Work with a team of skilled technicians on the floor, providing support and troubleshooting equipment and process issues to ensure safety, quality and productivity
- In a Quality, Lean, or Manufacturing Engineering focused position, you’ll eliminate waste and optimize production
- Conduct root cause analysis to address production issues and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement advanced technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities
- Gain access to senior leaders and dedicated career coaching to help you navigate your path
- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Energy related majors will be considered.
- The required work location is Schenectady, NY - 100% onsite.
