Pay Rates Starting between: $17.70 - $29.25 / hour
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material and products. Additional responsibilities may include replenishing stock, handling will-calls (customer orders), and loading trailers for intercompany transfer of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product receipt and shipment. Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other packaged items. Fill customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or convey orders to packing station or shipping stations. Prepare customer orders by assembling product on pallets. Read production schedules, customer orders, and work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Off load bulk lubricants on trucks into tanks or totes.
What they want
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; able to write simple correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
- Able to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Able to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- 3+ years warehouse experience, petroleum distribution industry experience preferred.
- Certification and ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, drum truck and pumps.
- 8-hour HAZWOPER training with re-certification annually.
