SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL - '26/'27 (STARLINK)

Starlink believes in providing fast, reliable internet to serve populations with little or no connectivity. We design, build, launch, and operate the world's largest constellation of satellites, enabling us to operate a global internet network unbounded by traditional ground infrastructure limitations. Starlink also designs, builds, and delivers high-volume consumer hardware that allows users to connect to these satellites within minutes of unboxing, as well as our advanced gateways that we deploy regionally throughout the world.

What you'd do

  • Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping of complex electrical designs
  • Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test of complex electronics
  • Create simulation models of hardware to evaluate performance
  • Contribute towards pre-silicon verification, chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
  • Write automation software in python to interact with units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems
  • Provide engineering support for the design, operation, improvement, and troubleshooting of facility electrical components and systems
  • Challenge assumptions and work to find simple solutions to complex problems

What they want

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline
  • 1+ years of experience design/analysis of circuits, electronic products, or hardware (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply)
  • Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027
