The Materials Associate will support the development, standardization, advancement and implementation of a lean enterprise material flow strategy. This role will utilize analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop solutions that result in optimal material flow at the lowest total landed cost.
What you'd do
- This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
- In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
- Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
- Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

- Associates degree within in Supply Chain, Materials, or a related field.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in materials, supply chain, production planning, inventory control, or a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean material flow concepts, including PFEP, point of use delivery, replenishment systems, Kanban, or similar processes.
- Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems to support inventory, materials planning, or production.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and support data driven decisions.
- Experience supporting inventory accuracy, shortage reduction, material availability, or production scheduling.
- Ability to work cross functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other manufacturing teams.
- Hands on experience working on a manufacturing floor and supporting continuous improvement projects.
