What you'd do
- Finance Support Works under immediate supervision to perform support activities in one or more disciplines within Finance (e.g. tax, treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, payroll, accounts payable, etc.).
- Performs data entry, records and stores financial data.
- Assists with basic financial calculations according to detailed instructions.
- Assists in sorting and filing correspondence for financial inquiries, and performing miscellaneous clerical duties.
- Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations on all finance activities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative skills by working closely with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of market trends and their impact on business performance
- How to work in a professional finance environment and contribute to team projects
- Strategies for identifying and driving process improvements
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
