JOB SUMMARY
Join ONEOK as an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician Intern this summer and become part of a team that upholds our core values of ethics, safety and environmental, excellence, diversity and inclusion, innovation, and service. This role will be based out of Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK.
This is an entry-level intern position focused on providing hands-on support and technical expertise to our Instrumentation and Electrical teams. As an I&E intern, you will assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and electrical systems critical to our operations.
What you'd do
- Assist in a wide range of responsibilities inclusive of job shadowing, preparing reports, analyzing data, learning about various operational, technical, and/or business-related compliance, regulatory, and/or technical components.
- Assist with development of presentations, trainings, knowledge sharing, and/or other administrative responsibilities
- Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
- Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
