2027 Technology Summer Internship – Early Careers (Software Engineering - California)

What you'd do

• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Devin, etc.) and AI platforms to accelerate development, including
• Generating unit and integration test cases aligned with Wells Fargo QA standards
• Assisting with code development, documentation, and refactoring within approved toolchain boundaries
• Supporting rapid prototyping and solution design exploration within sandbox/non-production environments
• Partner with senior engineers to review, validate, and govern AI-generated code to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, risk, and security standards
• Contribute to AI-augmented development workflows including automated documentation, code review assistance, and developer productivity tooling within approved SDLC processes
• Explore opportunities to integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive insights, natural language interfaces) in alignment with Model Risk Management (MRM) guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI-assisted outputs while adhering to data handling and confidentiality policies
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications
• Contribute to data engineering efforts, including data modeling, pipeline development, and analytics environments
