What you'd do
- Location: Remote within the US.
- You must be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
- Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Master's in Public Health, Global Health, Nutritional Science, or related fields.
- Internship Cohort Dates: 25 January – 23 April 2027.
- Stipend: This internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.
- Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 student visa holder with valid work authorization) and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 25 January – 23 April 2027.
- Current student or recent graduate from a graduate programme (within 2 years).
- Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
What you get
- Exposure to Expert Guidance: Liaise with the Principal Investigator (PI)/Senior Technical Advisor (STA) for Nutrition to assist in desk and literature review on food-based approaches (FBA), infant and young child feeding counselling (IYCF), and behavior change approaches for malnutrition prevention.

- Systematic and Desk Review Expertise: Experienced in conducting systematic and desk reviews of resources and tools in nutrition-related topics, proficient in literature search and data extraction.
- Quantitative Data Handling: Skilled in quantitative data analysis using SPSS or other statistical software, as well as MS Excel for synthesizing data across studies.
- Global Health and Nutrition Knowledge: Possess knowledge of global health and nutrition issues, including cultural sensitivity when collaborating with international staff, organizations, and academic partners.
