Job Description
The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology (NBMG) within the College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking applications for a Program Manager, Geologic Mapping position. NBMG serves as the state geological survey for Nevada and is a public service unit at UNR. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager, Geologic Mapping position is overseeing the production of geologic map publications at NBMG.
What you'd do
- Geology or related geoscience field.
- Research in structural geology, economic geology and/or Quaternary geology, with substantial experience in geologic mapping of bedrock and/or Quaternary deposits.
- Graduate research to be verified by these projects or peer reviewed publications.
- Project management.
