Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-rich, and low-cost approach. Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies, enabling advanced microgravity research and manufacturing, and unlocking a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. Haven Demo’s 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Next, Haven-1 is expected to become the world’s first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, followed by additional Haven modules.

What you'd do

  • Support end to end flow of material from receiving through inspection, inventory, allocation, and use on the shop floor
  • Execute inventory, shipping, receiving, kitting, inspection, cycle counting, and material allocation activities to support production and development
  • Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving, Quality Inspection, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and the to keep material moving efficiently
  • Prepare, organize, stage, and prioritize received material for inspection to improve receiving speed, inspection flow, and parts-to-inventory cycle time
  • Maintain accurate transactions, labeling, storage, traceability, and segregation of material, including serialized, lot-controlled, bonded, MRB, and nonconforming inventory
  • Support machine shop and production floor readiness by ensuring required parts, raw material, consumables, kits, tools, and documentation are available when needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements that improve inventory accuracy, cycle count quality, receiving performance, material availability, and overall shop floor execution
  • Cross train to support other departments when needed.

  • Manufacturing Coordinator II: $22.00 - $30.00

What they want

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, production support, manufacturing operations, or a related field
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted
