We’re here for one reason and one reason only – to cure cancer. Every moment is dedicated to developing treatments and every action moves us one step closer to our goal. We’ve made incredible scientific breakthroughs and our pioneering personalized CAR T-cell therapies have changed the paradigm. But we're not finished yet.
Join Kite, as we make even bigger advances in cancer therapies, and help shape where our business and medical science goes next.
We believe every employee deserves a great leader. People Leaders are the cornerstone to the employee experience at Gilead and Kite. As a people leader now or in the future, you are the key driver in evolving our culture and creating an environment where every employee feels included, developed and empowered to fulfil their aspirations.
What you'd do
- Develop an end-to-end map of the cell therapy value chain and identify the activities, decisions, handoffs, dependencies, and potential constraints that sit on the critical path.
- Analyze how internal FTE capacity and external spend are deployed across functions, activities, and stages of the cell therapy lifecycle, using available operational and financial data.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to validate the critical-path map, understand where work is concentrated, and identify resource gaps, duplication, bottlenecks, or opportunities to simplify ways of working.
- Assess where AI and automation could be applied to high-value activities, with consideration for business impact, feasibility, data availability, risk, and required human oversight.
- Develop a prioritized set of recommendations that highlights where Kite could redirect resources or deploy AI to improve cycle time, productivity, decision quality, and return on investment.
- Translate findings into an executive-ready roadmap and final presentation that clearly communicates the current-state fact base, priority opportunities, expected value, key assumptions, and recommended next steps.
- Showcase your work with a final presentation (PPT) near the conclusion of your internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the internship.
