A Medline internship provides real-world, hands-on experience where you can make a true impact. Interns take ownership of projects while gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of their roles. What you'd do
- Develop and implement new features for business and e-commerce applications.
- Design, code, test, deploy, and support software solutions.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support automated testing efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to improve existing applications and software development processes.
- Write technical documentation to support software maintenance and usability.
- Analyze business requirements and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Work closely with fellow interns and Medline team members in a collaborative, professional environment.
What they want
- Rising senior or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Experience with Java and/or JavaScript through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts.
- Exposure to modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Next.js.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Selenium, Jasmine, or Karma is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
