What you'd do
- Integrates demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and continuous improvement to drive cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, resiliency, and service performance across Medtronic’s global business units.
- Plans, sources, manufactures, and distributes medical technologies worldwide, ensuring high-quality products reach hospitals, clinicians, and patients safely, reliably, and on time.
- Identifies, selects, and manages suppliers to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of materials, components, and services that support patient therapies worldwide.
- Drives supplier performance, mitigates supply risks, ensures regulatory and quality compliance, and delivers cost savings through contract management, supplier development, and strategic procurement initiatives.
- Working toward a bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management or a related major with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
- Ability to participate full time, 40 hours per week, as part of the intern cohort from June 1-August 13 for semester system programs or June 14-August 20 for quarter system programs.
- Applicants for Medtronic’s Summer Internship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
