The Role:
Our site in Franklin, MA is seeking a R&D Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will support the development and characterization of advanced adsorbent materials used in filtration, purification, and chemical separation applications. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in material characterization, adsorption testing, product development, and laboratory-scale experimentation while working closely with experienced scientists and engineers.

What you'd do
- Characterize adsorbent materials and help develop a database for the lab.
- Conduct adsorption capacity studies for various chemicals and contaminants, including sample preparation, experimentation, and documentation.
- Support the development and optimization of new adsorbent media through experimental design, testing, and performance assessment.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on product development activities, technical reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safe laboratory practices.
- Pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters in below mentioned majors.
- Strong laboratory and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and scientific data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
