We’re currently hiring for open positions in the US and Canada. We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name.
What you'd do
- Under the guidance of the Electrical Engineering Manager and electrical engineers, conceptualize, and develop material handling products using sound electrical engineering principles
- Adhere to suitable design and documentation practices and methodologies
- Support internal and external customers in product use and application as required
- Support vendors in product and sub-component fabrication as required
- Adhere to project timelines and budgets
- Participate in Product Development department and company projects as assigned
- Participate in functional and accelerated life tests to ensure product reliability and performance
- Provide support and documentation to enable company staff to quote and source materials
- Participate in the identification and recommendation of new material handling technology solutions
- Serve as a technical resource to other departments as required
