Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era.
What they want
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field.
- To be eligible for this role, you need to graduate by Dec 2026 and be able to start FTE by January/February 2027.
- Previous internship experience.
- Working towards a proficiency of one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
- Impact-driven approach to technology: You see technologies as tools to achieve user impact rather than ends in themselves.
- You care more about building successful systems that solve real problems than about using specific tech stacks or following trends.
- You stay current with the latest tools like Codex, Claude Code, and other AI-assisted development environments. You're pragmatic about choosing the right tool for the job, focusing on what delivers the most value to users.
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context.
- You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates.
- You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
- You think about the implications of what you're building and how it will impact real people's lives.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
- Passion for web applications: You can work with others to build and maintain quality user interfaces for a big audience, using Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern UI framework like React.
- Familiarity with backend systems: You understand how parts of a system fit together—from the user interface to the data model. Familiarity with database systems like Postgres, MySQL or MongoDB is a plus.
