What you'd do
- Be paired with a “copilot”, or technical mentor, and work alongside the “copilot” and other software engineering team members to experience a real industry project.
- Gain knowledge on performing technical planning/estimating, software development, and software verification for total flight deck display systems.
- Learn about and apply industry standards and processes, such as ARP-4754 and DO-178.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Some experience with and/or coursework on at least one software development language such as C, C++, Python, or Java.
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
