What You Will Do:
What you'd do
- Create and approve Assembly Process Instructions to meet validation / certification requirements for commercial and military Development Engines.
- Support the Assembly Floor by driving the implementation of Assembly Instructions and troubleshooting any issues that may be stopping the Engine from being built.
- Drive the development and implementation of new and robust processes needed to ensure production readiness.
- Consistently work to improve technical proficiency.
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify needed changes to engineering definition and/or work instructions.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM Major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and should be a rising junior or senior undergraduate student at a minimum.
- Experience Reviewing & Approving Assembly Work Instructions
- Experience Reviewing & Approving Engineering Product Definition
- Proficient in Teamcenter, NX, Solumina & SAP
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
