The DCSA Student Experience (DSE) '27 Cohort. Open to undergraduate and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, who will remain full-time students through October 2028. Summer Cohort Start Date: 31 May 2027 (alternate: 14 June 2027); End Date: 20 August 2027. Students must attend for a minimum of 10 weeks (400 hours). What you'd do

  • This is a temporary position NTE 04 September 2027.
  • As a GENERAL STUDENT TRAINEE (INDUSTRIAL SECURITY) you will be responsible for the following duties: Under direct supervision, manages implementation of the NISP provides and facilitates multiple discipline support to assigned contractor facilities and GCAs.
  • Conducts basic-level evaluation of business structures, operational control, reporting requirements, and security program implementation throughout the life cycle of the contractor's FCL.
  • Determines required resources and the length, breadth and scope, and assigns actions to ensure work is efficiently accomplished.
  • Participates in integrated teams of security and counterintelligence professionals for SRs.
  • Responsible for identifying and recording vulnerabilities or instances of noncompliance to determine the level of risk within a contractor's security program.
  • Recommends and coordinates the appropriate rating for communication to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Monitors noncompliant programs and conducts compliance reviews and associated activities to confirm corrective actions.
  • Prepares detailed investigative reports and notifies external stakeholders of compromise or loss of U.S. or foreign government classified information so that the stakeholder may conduct a damage assessment.
  • Under direct supervision, conducts onsite FCL eligibility surveys based on new requests to evaluate operational and/or physical vulnerabilities associated with threat to U.S. or foreign classified information at the contractor facilities.
  • Coordinates appropriate actions to ensure the entity and/or personnel are properly cleared or excluded from access to classified information.
  • Verifies the executed Certificate Pertaining to Foreign Interests (SF 328, FOCI) accurately represents the contractors' business operations, advising contractor officials when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
