Want to work for a company that is recognized as a top workplace across the country? We're searching for Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Lisle, IL for Summer 2027! The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks. You will be expected to work 100% on-site.

What you'd do

  • Under direct supervision and guidance, work closely with other interns, as well as seasoned engineers, on projects that expose them to leading edge telecommunications technology.
  • You will perform work under close mentor guidance including but not limited to
  • Development of software
  • Algorithm development and optimization
  • Research paper writing

What they want

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Broad computer science/computer engineering background including broad knowledge of algorithm and data structure implementation
  • Experience and interest in some of the following technology areas desired: Networking, Security, Vulnerability research; etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
  • Experience with high-level programming languages such as C/C++
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git
  • Experience with GNU/Linux software development and toolchains
