  • Gain hands-on experience in municipal debt issuance and public finance, including appropriate client and financing-team interaction.
  • Support debt issuance engagements from early-stage planning through transaction execution and learn how municipal financings are structured, sold and repaid.
  • Assist with evaluating financing alternatives, debt structures, repayment sources, timing considerations and the affordability of proposed capital plans.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining financial analyses, debt models, schedules, presentations and other client-ready materials used to support financing decisions.
  • Analyze financial information such as existing debt, future borrowing needs, revenue and expenditure trends, fund balances and tax- or rate-supported revenues.
  • Assist with transaction documentation, financing calendars, data requests, due diligence materials and other activities that help keep debt issuance projects organized and moving forward
  • Participate, as appropriate, in client meetings and financing working-group discussions with issuers and other transaction professionals.
