Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-rich, and low-cost approach. Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies, enabling advanced microgravity research and manufacturing, and unlocking a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. Haven Demo’s 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Next, Haven-1 is expected to become the world’s first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, followed by additional Haven modules.

What you'd do

Purchase order placement and open order management.
Support Vast Supplier management including tasks such as onboarding, performance monitoring, compliance verification, and relationship management, requiring dedicated oversight.
Assist with consistent communication, contract follow-ups, and resolution of supply chain issues.
Ensures procurement activities adhere to policies, reducing organizational and supply chain risk.
Activities include Supplier due diligence and documentation tracking now demand sustained focus to maintain audit-readiness and regulatory compliance.
Tackle high volume data entry and data migration.
Manage and drive supplier issue ticket resolution, RMA processing and billing/AP discrepancies
Enable Procurement team to focus on high-value tasks such as negotiations and procurement strategies, while managing day-to-day operational procurement.

What they want

1-3+ years of procurement experience, procurement, supply chain, or a related business role (internships/co-ops acceptable)
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
Intermediate level Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) knowledge
