Under broad supervision, provides actuarial support, analytics and research for the Long-Term Care block of business. This position also participates in CNA's Actuarial Education Program which provides competitive study support while developing actuarial knowledge through credentialing exams.

What you'd do
- Analyzes financial, statistical and mathematical data and performs actuarial calculations to identify trends driving business outcomes.
- Assists in the execution of rate increase strategies, calculation of reserves and/or cash flow projections to support the monthly close process or supports the annual reserve and asset adequacy testing process for the LTC block of business.
- Collaborates with business partners to gather information and assists with the preparation of material for meetings.
- Contributes to monitoring experience trends and providing analytical insights into Long Term Care.
- Assists in preparing variety of standard and special reports for management as needed.
- Accountable for maintaining robust documentation.May perform additional duties as assigned.
