What you'd do
- Engineering interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business.
- Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.
What they want
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering, Systems engineering, or a related Science or Engineering field and actively enrolled through the completion of the intern session.
- Completed coursework in thermodynamics
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering or Systems engineering
- Completed 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session
- Completed coursework in gas turbine cycle modeling, gas dynamics, compressible flow aerodynamics (1-D, 2-D), and turbomachinery component design.
- Exposure to control system design and analysis, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics.
- Experience with NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation) software.
