What you'd do

  • Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Performing routine network updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Working closely with IT teams, software developers, and other departments to ensure the network supports all business functions efficiently.

What they want

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
  • Must have taken basic IT courses that focus on the function and use cases for devices such as routers, switches, servers, storage, and/or firewalls. Additionally, must have taken a course on systems/software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
