The Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of SCIPP Specialists, with duties similar to that of technician or engineer in the industrial sector. SCIPP is a pioneer in the development of silicon detectors for elementary particles with expertise in both silicon micro-strip and pixel detectors and fast timing detectors, as well as radiation tolerant readout electronics for such detector systems.
