What you'd do
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electronic engine controls for aircraft engines.
- Conduct analysis and simulations of electrical circuits within electronic engine controls.
- Perform hands on design verification testing and qualification testing of electronic engine controls.
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and field issues.
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines to solve challenging multi-disciplinary problems.
- Electronic Hardware Development process of electronic engine controls, from initial conceptual design through verification and integration testing.
- Develop skills in identifying and resolving issues in fielded electronic engine controls.
- Understand how electronic engine controls integrate with other hardware and software on aircraft engines and airframes.
- Gain insights into project planning, team collaboration, and effective communication within an engineering team.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
- Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Power AppsExperience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
