What you'd do

  • Your responsibilities may include supporting concept development, detailed design, analysis, integration and test, support of transition to production efforts, factory production line support and product improvement.
  • Additional duties may include root cause / corrective action and problem resolution at our on-site labs and factories or at various suppliers.
  • Candidate will work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure that engineering requirements are defined, risks are managed, and schedules/budgets are met.
  • You will work within the process to ensure Technical Data Package quality per ASM Y14.5.
  • You will work under supervision of an Engineering team lead in performing your duties.
  • As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, your decisions will be data driven in nature and require preparing technical justification analysis reports as well as presenting to a variety of Engineering Review Boards.
  • 3D Parametric Modeling
  • Communication of technical information by way of presentations and other means
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

What they want

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
  • Experience with Creo modeling and drafting
  • Experience with Windchill and configuration management
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
