What they want
- The successful candidate should be a student pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- An academic standing of Sophomore status or higher is preferred.
- Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a strong academic background, exceptional attention to detail, and organization and team collaboration skills.
- Experience using design software such as PLS-CADD or SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications - especially Excel - is also preferred.
- Design high voltage transmission line facilities in support of AES Ohio driven system improvements, reliability projects and system load growth.
- Participate in field visits to verify topography, identify obstacles and meet with construction crews to address engineering concerns and solicit design feedback.
